After a strong recommendation from our celebrant, we contacted Rowena to see if she would be available to be our wedding photographer. We didn't have the chance to meet prior to our wedding since we were getting married abroad. But Rowena reaasured us that everything would work out perfectly, and it did. Rowena is very organized and careful and wants to make sure to get each shot perfect! We had a long list of requests for pictures and not once did we feel rushed on our special day. Rowena was the photographer at our wedding earlier this year. From the offset I can't praise Rowena enough for how lovely she was and quick she was to respond to any of my messages. On the day itself we did not have to worry about a thing as Rowena was there ahead of everyone all set up and ready to go, she was very accomendating with any requestsw we had for our photos and put us at ease making us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Rowena is hands down the best photographer I've ever worked with in America or Ireland! If you're hoping to find the best, look no further! Her work is stunning and she has a fantastic ability to capture precious exchanges that occur naturally without feeling like a camera is there. We had an Ireland destination dream wedding in our minds. We were looking for a Dublin based natural photographer that had experience with nature based photography as well as weddings. We searched through google, Facebook and Instagram and came up with Rowena Potts-Photography. We contacted Rowena, she went over pricing and dates, we set up a contract and went over date range when she had an opening. Rowena was super easy and accommodating to work with. Rowena was very informational and helpful with location ideas as well as offering to scope out some locations. She also sent some location photo ideas after we went over what we were looking for in our ceremony. Rowena sent a video and photos of the location we decided on. She went there herself and scoped the location site out and made suggestions. She had great ideas for props to use for photos as well. Rowena kept in touch for months leading up to our ceremony. We were very relaxed in our plans and ceremony ideas in the days leading up to the big day due to all her help and reassurance. Rowena was amazing on our special day, she made us very relaxed as well as made us laugh and enjoy our photo session. We are extremely please with our amazing photos. Having a destination dream wedding in Ireland planning for months from New York, with such an amazingly wonderful person such as Rowena, made it so memorable for us.
